When love comes to town…damn TV guide

Well I knew that it was State of Origin tonight…but I didn’t remember that When Love Comes to Town was on last night…forgot to check the TV guide and I also got caught up with Masterchef first and then a damn stupid uni chat about a useless group assignment…actually useless is an understatement I think…

Anyhow…thankfully news.com.au has a recap to keep me up to date.

We went to The Barossa….which is good for those into wine.

The blokes were farmer Andy who’s dog isn’t a good kisser apparently….OMFG seriously!!!  Why would anyone say that???  Especially on national television.

and wine-maker Josh

Turns out the girls get caught up when the boys both say wine and that’s it for most of them…and farmer Andy is a tad posh given how he pronounces shiraz and he takes the girls to play croquet…oh dear honey you’re not bad on the eye, but between the croquet and the dog’s bad kissing I’m concerned about you.

Josh takes the girls for lunch but they have to make it…ummmmm honey a bit of advice I know that people think that food is the way to a man’s heart, but let me tell you every girl wants a man to make her a good meal and do the dishes afterwards…just remember that!!!

Then there’s the drama…Monica wants to go home, she can’t compete with all the other girls, and she gets all teary over it.  I’m sorry honey, but you’re only 22…wait until you’re a old grey duck of 38 and living in the middle of nowhere and then you can start sooking about the lack of love in your life…oh wait…no then you can’t.  Then you can get off your bum and do something about it!!!

Anyway for the single dates Andy chooses Abbey and Mindy and Josh chooses Ainslie and Jess….yes Jess is the girl looking for her Magic Man…honey that phrase alone scares me, nothing more and nothing less.

Ainslie gets taken for a wine-tasting, only it’s blind and the poor love picks the el cheapo wine and not Josh’s expensive wine that he made…honey, honey, honey, focus on the activity at heart and not the blindfold and you may have done better.

Andy also took Mindy to a winery…see the Margaret River guys didn’t all go the alcohol line…the Barossa guys tended to go that way.

The bus is back and poor Josh has both girls get on the bus.

Mindy decides that she’s going to stay for Andy…maybe the winery helped her like him a tad.

As for the recap from Kangaroo Island…yeah well Kelly and Tom didn’t last the distance and she’s gone back to reality…that’s 0-2 from those that have stayed off the bus.
