Sweet sixteen…write, every day of your life 21/365

The write, every day of your life prompt for January 21st is…when you were 16, what did you think your life would look like? Does it look like that? Is that a good thing?

Oh dear…let’s go back in time to when I turned 16…1992.  Gee it seems like a while ago.

Back then I didn’t even have a single grey hair…oh well that’s definitely changed.

Back then I was in year 10…oh dear, I’m still in school, as both a teacher and a student.

Back then I lived in the suburbs of Melbourne…oh well that’s another thing that has definitely changed, having left Melbourne on January 4th, 1999 and only been back for holidays since then…and I don’t think I could handle living in the city again.  I lived in a city overseas, but it was nothing like an Australian capital city or the suburbs.

What did I think life would be like when I grew up???  Well I would have loved to be a sports reporter…these days I’ll stick to writing on here, facebook and twitter about sports and going to events when I can.  I don’t think teaching was in my mind then, but I’m glad I’m in it.
